If your child will be absent from remote learning (8:30 AM to 12:20 PM), please report the absence by sending a message to absence@millenniumhs.org by 9:30 AM.  Additionally, your child should email his/her advisor and teachers about making up any missed work as soon as possible.

If your child is enrolled in blended learning and will not be reporting to school in person for any reason, please send a message to absence@millenniumhs.org by 1:00 PM.  Otherwise, your child is expected at school in person as follows:

9th Grade:  Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1:00 to 3:00 PM

10th Grade:  Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 to 3:00 PM

11th Grade:  Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1:00 to 3:00 PM

12th Grade:  Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 to 3:00 PM

    *Absences and Lateness

Students are required to be at school every day that school is in session.

If a student is sick or must otherwise miss school, the parent or guardian must contact the school at absence@millenniumhs.org by 9:30 AM.  Emails must be received from a verified parent email address already on file with the school.   Please also email if your child will be more than 30 minutes late.

Upon returning to school, students are required to bring a note signed by their parents or guardians explaining the absence.  Students should have this note signed by all of their teachers before submitting it to the main office; otherwise, the absence will be marked as unexcused.

Feel free to use our STUDENT EXCUSE ABSENCE FORM

Medical notes from a doctor’s office are required after three days of consecutive absences, or if you arrive late to school from a medical appointment.

    *Early Dismissal

We encourage parents to make medical or dental appointments after 3:00 PM.  However, if your child needs to leave school early for any reason, please email absence@millenniumhs.org before 9:30 AM that day.  Alternatively, your child may bring a note to the main office in the morning before first period class.  The main office will prepare a pass to be given to your child at the time of departure.

Upon returning to school, students need to bring a doctor's note verifying their appointment to have signed by the teachers of any classes they missed before submitting it to the main office.

Please note that students who leave school earlier than 11:06 AM will be marked absent for the afternoon.

*From 2019-2020 Attendance Policy, where applicable.
